Pure and Natural Products made in Botswana

KyT ProductsThe members of Kgetsi ya Tsie generate much of their very limited incomes from selling natural resource products to KyT Community Trust. The Trust conducts quality checks on these products before packaging, labeling and distributing the products. The vast majority, normally around 80%, of the selling price goes direct to the primary producer.

We are particularly fortunate in Tswapong to be blessed with a large natural stock of marula trees. Marula is traditionally known as the king of African trees, and its fruit, nuts, bark and leaves have been used by Africans for centuries because of their outstanding properties.

Marula oil and soap are produced at the Trust's Lerala factory from the marula kernels (dicheru) supplied by members and other local village communities.

The Trust's product range falls into three main categories - click below to go to those products that interest you:

Cosmetic products

Some members also sell a range of other natural products which are not directly marketed by the Trust. We can, however, arrange for the sale of these products on request:

Tswapong Sands - Elegant bottles filled with the many different coloured sands of the Kalahari;
Traditional clay pots - hand made in the village of Manaledi;
Thatching grass
