The
members of Kgetsi ya Tsie generate much of their very limited incomes from selling
natural resource products to KyT Community Trust. The Trust conducts quality
checks on these products before packaging, labeling and distributing the products.
The vast majority, normally around 80%, of the selling price goes direct to
the primary producer.
We are particularly fortunate in Tswapong to be blessed with a large natural stock of marula trees. Marula is traditionally known as the king of African trees, and its fruit, nuts, bark and leaves have been used by Africans for centuries because of their outstanding properties.
